Mother's Day

Thanks to many friends and family members who extended warm wishes on my first Mother's Day as Mom. It was wonderful. Sister Hurst even congratulated me ovet the pulpit at church, during her mission homecoming talk. I was so flattered. And my dear Kinners got me a great pair of shoes. Brent outdid himself at dinner--pork tenderloin, lemon garlic shrimp, best salad of all time, mushrooms, bread, and creme brulee with strawberries. All five grandparents and greatgrandparents on the Morley side came for the evening. The boys were wiped out by the end of the day.

Church throws a wrench in their schedules each Sunday anyway. Sacrament Meeting was Wrestlemania with Oliver. He doesn't get particulary fussy when he's tired, but he gets a little spazzy. He flapped, patted, flailed, arched, barfed, yanked my hair out, endeavored to eat my necklace, locked his knees, squealed, slapped the hymn book, chucked toys, grunted, jabbered at the top of his voice, and blew raspberries like a chimpanzee on speed. The Findlays and Vincents in the pews in front and back of ours seemed thoroughly entertained. Brent was playing the organ, so I was glad Marge Tilley, our neighbor, sat by us and held and fed Lennox. He slept most of the meeting, which was all I wanted to do when we got home. No such luck.
I can't believe how blessed I am to be Mom to the two sweetest, most beautiful boys in all the land. Lamb, Oliver and Lennox, you are everything. Kelsey and Heather: I love you forever.

La Multi Ani de ziua mamelor! Este un pic tarziu dar mai bine asa decat deloc. Numai bine ti-e si baietilor.
