Rub a dub dub...

3 Morleys in a tub....and it was pretty crowded. A bath in Mom and Dad's tub, just to mix up the routine.

Cheerios

Getting the hang of eating Cheerios. Oliver really works his lower jaw, chomping like he has a mouthful of teeth instead of two little buds. Funny!

Yummy

To celebrate Oliver's tooth, we ate chocolate cake batter for breakfast. April Fools! It's prunes. (We were celebrating constipation.)

A Tooth!

I knew it had to be soon. Saturday morning as I ran my finger over Oli's little gums, I felt it! A needle-sharp tooth cutting through. Lower left. Can you see it? Probably not, but it's there. He has been as pleasant as ever. He does enjoy gnawing on a frozen ducky, though.

Outside At Last!

We were so happy to play outside on Saturday. Yay, sunshine! We brought Oliver's saucer out on the deck where he could watch Daddy chopping and hauling trees. He also enjoyed swinging in the hammock. If he looks a bit disconcerted, it's because the chainsaw was terribly loud.

First Library Book

Oliver was so well behaved as I wheeled him around the library last week. A two or three year old girl took a liking to him and kept putting DVDs in his stroller. We picked out this hillarious board book to borrow. Big fan of this author, Leslie Patricelli. I used to love reading "Yummy YUCKY" and "Quiet LOUD" to Asher. (He would get a quivery lip when I read the "loud" parts LOUDLY.) Oliver, as you can see, has been devouring his first library book. Here are a couple pages I hope he pays strict attention to.

Time for Another Haircut

Oliver doesn't sit as still as he used to during a haircut, but the Bumbo seat still helps a lot. We used Daddy's hair wax to give Oli's soft locks some weight, for a more precise cut. His favorite part is looking at himself in the mirror. You really can't fault him for that.

Oliver, age 2

Doesn't Oliver look like such a big boy? Who would look at this picture and guess he's only 6 months old?
