My Top 10 Favorite Things about Oliver (today)

10. His deliciously chubby thighs.
9. His gorgeous red lips.
8. His EXTRA strong grip when he grabs my hands and fingers.
7. The funny way he uses his tongue to entertain himself, licking his fists, fingers, toys, etc.
6. The way he kicks his legs frantically when he gets excited. He could churn butter with those things.
5. His soft and perfect skin. It is so gorgeous and evenly colored.
4. His kissable, plump cheeks.
3. His adorable eyes and long eyelashes.
2. His hair. Come ON!
1. The way he smiles at me first thing in the morning and throughout the day.

Oliver, We love you. Thank you for making our lives beyond wonderful.

We caught Oliver making some delightful baby noises this morning. After watching it a few times we think he isn't just making noises but having a full on conversation.

Chick Magnet

Forgive me for breaking my personal rule against dressing a baby in grown-up clothes. (Normally I find it tantamount to dressing a chimp in human clothes.) The ensemble just presented itself. This denim jacket was a gift; Asher handed down his rockstar sweater; and we were given the wicked leather shoes, bearing the Union Jack, in London from friends we stayed with. Come on, it's funny!

Growth Spurt?

Yesterday Oliver slept and slept. Maybe he was growing, because today he looks big/older. He's so smiley when he wakes up--I had to take some pictures. After a while he told me what he thought about the camera always being in his face....
