We haven't been able to post much video recently due to our VERY slow dial up connection. But Oliver has been talking and talking and grinning and grinning, so we wanted to get some footage up. Trouble is - every time we switch on the camera he clams up. Anyway - we got a couple of grins and 'coos' here, but we'll keep the camera rolling to try and capture him in full conversation mode. Enjoy!

Christmas Day ....so far
Oliver and Pa.
Aunt Kinsey and not-uncle Scott.
Well we have had a magical Christmas so far with our little guy. We woke up and had a delicious Christmas bottle, and then when we went to open our presents, Oliver promptly fell asleep. After our nap we headed over to auntie Shayna's and Uncle Kev's for Belgian waffles and some tastey omlettes (if I do say so myself.) More fun is sure to be had this evening at dinner at Mimi and Pa's. We will be sure to update soon.
On another note: Cambry and I have been reflecting on how different and more wonderful this Christmas is compared to last. Oliver has blessed our lives beyond measure and given everything a new perspective and deeper meaning. We LOVE having Christmas as a family and being able to give our nephew's presents "from Oliver." Our thoughts and prayers are with Kelsey, Zach, and their families today and everyday. We love you all and wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas Eve 2007
We had a splendid time over at Grandma and Grandpa Morley's house tonight for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. Grandpa made our traditional Cordon Bleu with all the fixins.

Fun in the sun
Mimi and Pa treated us to a trip in Palm Desert with the whole family. We LOVED being in the warm weather and having such a nice relaxing break before the Christmas madness begins. Unfortunatley, we forgot to take any good photos - so we are left to show these instead. If you look closely you can see palm trees and cactus in the background. Not exactly National Geographic quality, but at least we can document our first 'vacation' with Oliver. Sorry for the long drive buddy, next time we will fly.
